COMM1 Assingment ( Paraphrasing )

Paragraph 1: Aristotle thinks that the role of arts implies in the imitation of human experience and that an artist can freely replicate aspects of nature, but maintains the union of its form. Aristotle explains that form is that which causes something to be the thing it is and what purpose it has. Aristotle connects form to something natural in the object, while, Plato connects form to something that is perfect which he calls the Ideal forms.

Paragraph 2 Plato and Aristotle vary in their discussion on imitation of beauty. Plato said that beauty is only an unsure thought that is showed in the order of the natural world, that’s why he put mathematics as the solution in understanding the natural word. Not like Plato, Aristotle believed that beauty is certainly true and has purpose but it is trapped in an object. That beauty is attached with its background and situation.
